STRATEGIC THINKING
A KEY TO THE FUTURE
Strategic problems often accompany changes. They are complex and multifaceted. Volatility, uncertainty, complexity and ambiguity (VUCA) increase the risks attached to decision-making. In such situations managers of all levels within their organization require adequate tools and skills. In other words they need to develop strategic competencies.
The theoretical foundation of our workshops is based on the strategic approach of professor Richard P. Rumelt from the UCLA Anderson School of Management in California.
Richard Rumelt is one of the most influential people specialized in strategy and management. The Economist described him as “one of twenty-five living persons who have had the most influence on management concepts and corporate practice.” McKinsey Quarterly described him as being “strategy’s strategist” and as “a giant in the field of strategy.”
